design
Before we can build anything we need a plan. Knabuilders works with some of the best interior designers, landscape designers and architects in the area. Together we will put together a project that looks beautiful!
build
Our team of carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and painters will work as a team, efficiently and cleanly. The foreman will explain at the end of the day what progress was made and and surprises we might have encountered so you are well informed about your special project.
The project timeline
Time
- Design & Permits 15%
This is the starting point and probably the most important. All partners come together; designers, architects and suppliers. This is organized and led by the planners at Knabuilders. All parties are given budgets and timelines so everything comes together at one time, without delays. All permits are attained and plans are approved by the municipality.
- Demolition & prep 40%
This is the most disruptive part of the process – the demo. While this can be noisy and dusty Knabuilders exclusive “Cleanbuild” technology eliminates most of the airborn dust and particulates. We accomplish this by sealing off the room we are working in and create negative air pressure exhausting the dirty air outside.
- Build & Install 80%
We now move on to an exciting phase. You will see many expert professionals working, from plumbers and HVAC installers to electricians and countertop installers. Tiles and flooring and windows (if needed) will be installed and your beautiful new appliances will be delivered and set-up. You will see a lot of progress on a daily basis.
- Finish & paint 100%
Now let’s finish up this job on your beautiful kitchen. Lighting fixtures, faucets and hardware are installed. Walls are painted, floors are sealed buffed and polished. And we end this the same way we started- with a meeting. We will make sure everything is up to your expectations (always is) and we will show you how you can keep your new kitchen looking new for years to come!
